Anita Brown: UNACCEPTABLE Hypocritical and prividged board president builds shed in backyard - March 2026

Board president and hypocrite, Anita Brown erected a shed on her property in March 2026 in clear defiance of ARC Guidelines

In March 2026, it was discovered that Anita Brown, the board president, had built a shed on the side of her house located at 6317 Whispering Wind Way despite ARC rules prohibiting sheds on properties. Obviously, Anita has no respect for rules or for us. She must think she is better than the rest of us. This is a real, "spit-in-your-face" and "screw you" slap-in-your-face act to the homeowners. Anita has no place on our board or as a leader. Anita is a dishonest hypocrite and a disgrace to herself and the board. ANITA BROWN MUST RESIGN.

Just two months prior (January 2026), a violation was issued to a homeowner for building a shed in his backyard. He was forced to remove it or face fines. But obviously, Anita feels privileged and decided to build her own shed (with a concrete floor) despite the ARC rules forbidding sheds. Imagine the hypocrisy of forcing another homeowner to remove his shed when just two months later, Anita is defying the same rules.

As depicted above, there is no county permit for Anita's shed or for the pouring of the concrete either. County Code Enforcement was notified, and Anita was issued a violation on April 14, 2026 for having an unpermitted structure (see the County violation above). Anita Brown was given 30 days to comply with the county and remove the shed, or face fines of $100.00 per day. It was only this that eventually forced her to remove her shed. All the while, the board was trying to avoid addressing this issue. Even our lovely property manager, Christina, tried to cover up the issue. She was not forthcoming to the community and also needs to resign.

Anita Brown's shed is completely illegal in all respects. But more concerning is Anita's act of defiance of our rules, which clearly state that sheds are not permitted.

This further proves that Anita is no one who should be president, or even remain on the board. Anita is not an honest person and has abused her position on the board. This is corruption within our board.

ANITA BROWN MUST RESIGN ... If Anita refuses to resign immediately, then the board must immediately take action to remove her from the board. Any failure of the board to remove Anita will further indicate favoritism, selective enforcement, complicity, and corruption within our board.

Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy, defined as the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform, is a serious accusation in the realm of leadership. In the case of Anita Brown, it appears she doesn't want to follow the community rules, has no ethics or morals, and is not a leader that anyone can trust. Brown has previously claimed transparency and accountability, but has never been transparent or accountable for her past behavior on the board. She tries to get away with whatever she can, and now she's showing us just how dishonest she is. Anita has no credibility, and this is another example that proves it.

The Impact of Leadership Dishonesty and Hypocrisy

The deceptions and egregious acts made by board members can significantly impact the trust of homeowners. Anita Brown’s recent actions have once again raised serious concerns regarding ethical governance. When people like Brown are discovered to be hypocritical and unethical, it not only undermines their authority and trustworthiness but also makes people wonder what else she is being dishonest about. Trust is foundational in leadership, and Anita Brown does not have it.

Absolutely No Integrity, Honesty, or Transparency

This unforgivable act of deception has revealed to many homeowners that Anita Brown cannot lead the community or the board. She has been dishonest and underhanded as a member of the board. ANITA BROWN MUST RESIGN IMMEDIATELY. The demand for her resignation is clear and simple. Yet as of June 10, Anita has refused to resign or be held accountable. Obviously, the entire board is acting irresponsibly by not removing her. Seems they favor friendship above accountability and honesty. We don't need board members like this.
