Nextdoor - The boards further acts of suppression to block information from owners

A long list (spanning years) of nefarious acts to hide information and posts that reveal corrupt behavior by the board members and their cohorts

COMMUNITY ISSUES

3 min read

For years, the board and their misguided, vindictive supporters have targeted Jim Young because he exposes their selective enforcement, favoritism, breaches of fiduciary duty, and other corrupt behavior on Nextdoor.

The board wants total control over what the community sees and reads. They retaliate, spread false rumors, and try to smear the names and reputation of anyone who challenges them—especially Jim Young, a retired federal agent, and Terry Whitlock, who filed and won two lawsuits against the association.

Board members and their loyal, cult-like supporters routinely attack Jim Young on Nextdoor or falsely report his posts to get them removed from Nextdoor. Their goal is to keep homeowners in the dark about what they’re doing behind the scenes. They are not innocent, yet they try to put on that persona to fool the homeowners. This level of control becomes even more aggressive during elections.

Every election cycle, board members suddenly join Nextdoor, along with their supporters and even the last two property managers, Kristine Diaz and Christina Hurst. There is no legitimate reason for these two property managers to join other than to monitor Jim Young and report back to the board. NEXTDOOR IS FOR HOMEOWNERS ONLY, WHO ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY. Nextdoor guidelines specifically have that requirement. Yet certain people, like Mark Kantrowitz, know how to manipulate the system to get around that requirement. These actions are suspicious and clearly intended to disenfranchise the homeowners, control and suppress information they don't want homeowners to know, as well as isolate and silence any opposition on Nextdoor.

They obviously don't want this information to get out to the homeowners or allow the homeowners a chance to see or discuss it. They suppress anyone with opposing views and deprive homeowners of their rights to present opposing facts or different opinions within the community and on social media! This is nothing short of unethical behavior and communism. Hence, the reason for this website which is not under the control or influence of the board. No one deserves to live under such a regime of oppression. They conspire amongst themselves to suppress the homeowners, yet don't allow the homeowners to openly discuss topics. That's dictatorship, authoritarianism, and hypocrisy!

Below is documentation of their nefarious activity on Nextdoor to keep information from the homeowners by removing my posts on Nextdoor.

On January 7th and 8th, the below post was put on Nextdoor twice. Both posts were removed within hours, but not before the post received at least two negative comments directed at the board and supportive of Jim's post.

Within three hours of Jim's post being removed, the board's friend, Bernie Pedowitz, whom they appointed as a board member just two months ago, in November 2025, suddenly joined Nextdoor. This wasn't coincidental, as this is a well-established pattern of board members and their friends banding together and suddenly joining Nextdoor to monitor what Jim is doing and posting just so they can report it to the board and falsely report it to keep this information from getting to homeowners and depriving them of an opportunity to openly discuss the topic. It's obvious that they call their friends and supporters to tell them to join Nextdoor and report any negative activity back to them.

This same pattern happened when our two property managers, Christina Hurst and Kristine Diaz suddenly joined Nextdoor immediately after Jim made scathing posts about the 2026 budget and of the board's piss-poor handling of our Reserves, respectively.
